Bape 88 Track Pack

Good news for anyone who was weary with the ‘Sta/TrackSta hypetrain that was further capitalized on by the always effervescent Souljah Boy who “Supermanned hoes” on his way to the top spot on Billboard’s hit chart. The latest packaged drop from the brand is the Track 88 Collection, which predictably includes the 88 Low and 88 Hi. The shoes are distinguished by a ribbed midpanel and toexbox, Timberland patterned laces (Hey, you have to gather inspiration from somewhere, right?) and a singular stitch line that melds the shoe’s upper and midsole. There’s no word on a release date for the 88 pack now, but when we get word we’ll update here!

Nike Air Hurache LE Return

As 2009 is already gearing up to be a great year for retro releases, the news just won’t stop coming! Adding to the mix now will be the long awaited return of the Nike Air Huarache LE runner. While we got a tease this year with the B Huarache fusion, nothing is better than the original.
So far 4 colorways have been confirmed for a summer ‘09 release. Also, all 4 look great. Two of the four colorways have a unique design on the side giving it that nice old school vibe. The grey/neon colorway is the best so far but the white/black/freshwater colorway is just as nice, very Griffey Max 1ish. But before we get into these we have a few more colorways of the B Huarache releasing to hold all you Huarache lovers over.

For all you Griffey fans out there, your prayers have finally been answered. Nike will be bringing back a Ken Griffey Jr. model for the first time in around 10 years! Summer 2009 will be the timeframe, and the Air Griffey Max 1 will be the model.
Two colorways have been announced so far. What’s even better is that they’re both original colorways! Some of you may remember these from 1995 and others might not. Either way, this shoe is not one to sleep on. Both colorways are definitely must-haves for the majority of the sneaker community including myself. Good thing for us all we have plenty of time to gear up and get ready for these as they will not hit the shelves until summer 2009.
This is only the beginning as Nike has plenty more in store for us all in 2009. Stay tuned to our Release Dates section

Return of Nike Air max 180

After seeing a few different Barkley styles hit the shelves already this year, Nike doesn’t plan on stopping the trend anytime soon. On the contrary, they’re going full force. Kicking things off, the Nike Air Force 180 will return to retail for the second time this year. Luckily for us, they will not be a House Of Hoops exclusive like the “Philly Cheesesteaks” were.
The black/light graphite/white will be the first colorway to be released. Then come early 2009 we have a few more colorways of the Air Force 180 scheduled to release as well as some more of the Air Force Max ‘93. Retail is set at $128 this time which is a slight price increase from the last time we saw these in stores.
Stay tuned for more info on this colorway and the others as it comes available. Keep checking back in our Release Dates section for the latest and greatest info on all your favorite up-and-coming Nike releases.

Union x CLOT tees

Two leaders albeit on opposite sides of the world, CLOT and Union have teamed up on a t-shirt in this latest re-appropriation of the famous Union logo. Combining the elements of each brand’s respective themes, the relationship was born out of a mutual respect between Union/UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz and CLOT’s Kevin Poon, Edison Chen and Tom Chung. The shirt features the ever-recognizable Union silhouette with CLOT’s own Chinese twist as the character is seen sporting a traditional jacket and hat with ponytail, a common trend within the past. The Union logo also absorbs the CLOT ‘C’ as well. Two colorways will be produced in white and black with the white one being exclusive to the US and the black one exclusive to Hong Kong. Available starting Monday, September 22nd at Hong Kong’s Juice.

Nike x DQM

I may be late but here it is.Not for the first time have Nike and New York proprietors of Dave’s Quality Meat worked together having come off the success of the Blazer produced earlier in the year. Here is another piece of mass proportions, having reworked the classic Dunk high adding a perforated suede upper, while it is the colors I am having fits over. The deep purple and interesting shade of aqua blue splashed all over the shoes makes for an exciting release, which is slated for September 20 at DQM and the rest of the world will receive them on September 27.

Lacoste Missouri 85

Lacoste have just released plans for their craziest version of the Missouri 85 yet! Known as the MV, the Croc’s cross-training tennis hero is now a heart attack, with enough poppin' pinks, orange and turquoise to brighten even Trescothick’s greyest of grey days with the willow. The mad colour system has been further enhanced with a screenprinted heel-counter and toebox, multi-thread laces and a tequila sunrise fade on the heel. Trainer spotters will possibly remember the MV colourway was first seen in a Lacoste advertisement way back in 2007 (after the Sneaker Freaker Missouri came out) which showed this exact version, although it was only a digital mock-up at that point... So there’s a nice bit of trivia to start the day!320 pairs will be released in November.

Nike Sportswear Hiking Boot

Here is a look at an upcoming hiking boot release from Nike Sportswear. The materials used in the new NSW line have been really great in terms of quality, so I am interested to see how this boot will turn out. The simple suede upper part of the boot appears to be of high quality material accented with red laces. The shoe also features a black sole that is visible in this pic, but there are not detailed shots of the bottom of the sole. Hopefully we will be able to bring you more detailed images closer to the actual release of the boots.
